A portrait of the Harley-Davidson, the most widely used motorcycle by the US Army during World War II. It could reach speeds of up to 100 km/h and did not have rear suspension, earning it the nickname "hard tail." Towards the end of the war, as the US troops advanced in Europe, it gained the more flattering nickname of "Liberator."
