“How could I be a model?” asked Audrey Hepburn as Jo in Funny Face. “I have no illusions about my appearance. In fact, I think I have a funny face.” Audrey Hepburn did not have a regular face, but no one would dare deny her enchanting beauty, thanks also to the inner radiance that was reflected in her splendid doe eyes. A fan once shouted at her: “You have the most beautiful eyes in the world!” To which she replied smiling: “I have the best mascara in the world!” A typical response from Audrey, always modest and critical of herself. Yet, beyond her natural gifts, Audrey Hepburn actually kept little secrets for makeup, especially the one she showed off in the 1950s, made famous by the films Roman Holiday and Sabrina.
