Have you ever wished to live in your favorite movie? For now, that's not yet possible... But in the meantime, my friend Alda asked me to portray her in the film 'Out of Africa,' directed in 1985 by Sydney Pollack. The film, which won seven Academy Awards, is an adaptation of the autobiographical novel by Danish writer Karen Blixen, which tells the spiritual journey of a woman discovering a wild and unknown continent, full of mystery and charm. In the painting, actor Robert Redford carries Alda on his shoulders, happy to virtually experience this adventure in a distant time and a remote place
