My project “La Tarantata: the vibrations of music in search of a new balance”

The exhibition "Vertigo and vibrations of the 21st century" continues, organized by Patty Art Gallery at the magnificent Palazzo Marchesale Castriota from 4 to 24 August, on the theme of the Notte della Taranta. The ancient dance of Salento has its origins in tarantism, a general malaise of the person caused by the bite of spiders such as the tarantula, whose traditional "cure" is a therapy of "musical exorcism" through frenetic dances to the sound of music and tambourines. The presence of these works of art, including my portrait of a dancing woman, offers new ideas for creativity in a mysterious and fascinating land.
